First Draft Response

         I think this was my first time writing an actual first draft so it was different and interesting to me. Although it’s nice to break up the essay into sections as the first draft is the put down initial thoughts and getting a second opinion before expanding on the points I mentioned before the final paper. But I found it hard to write all 800 words, especially knowing that I would have to write so much more later. And leaving this as a first draft, I wanted to make sure I mentioned everything but I did not really elaborate on all the points yet. Before rereading what I wrote, I definitely went into a rant like in “Shitty First Drafts.” Before writing, I made notes of what I wanted to cover, but when I began writing, I went in a linear structure of mentioning the points until I realized I did not have words I needed. I think writing this first draft will be helpful in ensuring I cover all points and analysis the points thoroughly.
