Revising Pg.480- 496

I think that the article was helpful for highlighting some key areas to look for when peer review the essays in class. The idea of listing questions to ask the people that will be reviewing my essay is new to me. In high school when we did peer revisions we usually just switched papers and began looking for ways to improve it. We did not follow any questions given to us beforehand. I think that reading the article about revision can be helpful if used in the correct way. It did not seem substantially impactful to me.

  1. I agree that the chapter helped find key points to when doing the peer reviews because I also in high school when peer editing would just look to see if they had certain things in their essay, not really commenting on things they can add to it.

  2. I agree with you that in high school there wasn't any guidelines for revision, so I would just look for grammatical errors. The questions provided in the chapter are very helpful.

  3. I agree that having questions to guide the revision is helpful because it reminds the reader of what they are looking for in a writing piece and what they can comment on or change.

  4. I agree that having the list of questions before would be beneficial. I also would mostly look for small grammatical errors when peer editing in high school.
