Annoying Ways response

After reading this article, my outlook on quotations has changed and in text citations has changed. Usually when I write a paper I try to drop a quotation in where it will be most beneficial, however I sometimes slack off on the in text citations. While reading this article, I see how some of these mistakes can make your work seem sloppy or not professional to other readers. Stedman gives several examples of good and bad quotations and in text citations. Also, I found this article fun to read. The author compared the proper and improper use of quotations to people driving recklessly. Having these comparisons in the article made it much more interesting to read. This article helped enhance mu understanding of the proper use of quotations in writing overall.
