Chapter 5

I enjoyed chapter 5 because often I can come up with a large quantity of topics, however narrowing it down to a quality topic is where I tend to struggle. Looking at subtopics is very important because often I find an area I love writing about but it can be very one dimensional making it difficult to analyze various aspects of it. Developing a working research question is the heart behind a strong paper and I am going to try and apply this when writing the proposal for this upcoming paper. The section on how to write a research proposal was very helpful because I have never written a proposal for a research paper. In high school we mostly wrote analysis pieces or timed writing. I do think that it will be very easy to make the proposal 300 words, however not going over board and too in-depth may be more difficult. For organizing my sources I am using Zotero for another class so I intend to also use it for this research paper as well, since I am familiar with the program.
