Journal 2: Reflection on Project 1
In the very beginning of Project 1, I had difficulty with getting my thoughts to flow well. As my drafts progressed, I noticed that getting all of my words to flow became much easier. Constantly reading my drafts over and over allowed me to get a better gauge of what the perfect order of my information should be. I think the most frustrating part about my experience with this process was that I would write my drafts and think that I was done; however, when I would save my work and then read it again the next day, I would immediately find things that I could improve. So, in reality, I really wasn't done, even when I thought I should have been. I definitely think that breaking the process up into three separate drafts gave me more of an opportunity to check my mistakes, add/delete certain things, and even teach myself how to fully analyze what I was writing. I definitely can say that my final draft was a work in progress, but I finally got there and I am happy with how it turned out. I would recommend this process to anyone out there who has to write an essay if he/she has time.
