Emily Nadel: The purpose of Emily’s project was to inform parents and students about the struggling education system in the United States compared to education systems in other countries.

Caroline Bing: I think that using a recipe as one of her genres was a creative way to explain vegetarianism because it encourages the audience to try it.

Analeza Newman: It was creative that she included music samples on her Instagram page because it gets the audience more interested and involved in the topic.

Kiana Walker: This project discusses the issue of sex trafficking and poverty issues and helps to bring awareness to these issues.

Josh Liles: The article that creates satire about tide pods and the issue of coral reef was a useful way to get the audience more interested in the topic.

Lauren Bodden: This project explains the ways in which strict parenting can have negative effects on their children.

Sydney Sawyer: This project focuses on why people should focus on becoming vegetarian and uses memes to initially get the audience interested in the topic.

Garret Podolan: Garret created a survey as one of his genres which greatly helped to explain the issues related to corporate tax cuts and how people generally feel about the topic.

Haley Maksymiak: In her project, Haley discusses the education of physician assistants and how students can become physician assistants themselves.

Leah Putnal: For her project, she focuses on the health and cultural aspects to prove why fad diets do not have any health benefits.

Alexis Aguila: For his project, he used a poem to explain to the audience the Cuban embargo which helped to explain how impactful the issue was at the time by using an extended metaphor.

Gabby: For her project, she explained the issue of post-traumatic stress disorder especially with veterans who deal with the disorder.

Hannah Lipman: For her project, Hannah created a youtube video to explain her topic of physician assisted euthanasia.


Julie Cotton: For her project, Julie explains the practice of eating bugs which is called entomophagy and why Americans generally are against it.
