Caroline Bing, Hailey Maksymiak, Hannah Lipman

We read Madison, Analeza, & Sydney's adaptation.

We found their adaptation of the story to be very funny.  We definitely think they were going for romantic comedy.  More than just being funny to read, we also think that their idea was clever and unique.  The romantic comedy genre is noticeable because of weirdness of the situation of the stockbroker thinking he was talking to a woman, while the entire time he was talking to a fifteen-year-old girl.  The part where the mom started speaking in broken English and shocked the man was the climax and the part where the comedy genre is most relevant.  The ending was witty as well, without going into detail, the authors left it at, "he knew." It summed up the story very well.
