Brainstorming Research Topics

For this research project I was planning on writing about something related to the medical field, more specifically about organ transplantation and new advances within the medical field.  Regarding new advances, my potential question could be: How are medical advances changing the face of organ transplantation?  This question could be revised by choosing specific types of organ transplantation, such as bilateral lung transplants or heart transplants.  Also, my question can include the type of medical advances, for instance the new machinery, created by the field of biomedical engineering, that replenishes organs so that they have a "brand new" and "fresh" appeal.  I can obtain information for this paper first hand by asking organ transplant patients about their transplant and recovery process because each transplant patient accepts the organs differently than others.  Thus, the technology side and medical advances of organ transplantation is very important and will constantly change the face of medicine.
