Journal 2: Prompt - Amiyah Lytle

1.  While writing project 1, I think I improved on my details and support most between my first and final drafts. My first draft was a bit rough in including examples from both the movie and the story. However, I feel my final draft included both aspects rather well for the time we had.

2. The most important thing I learned is that writing sucks. It's a long, tedious process that frustrates me to no end but learning this was crucial. Now, I understand that these drafts are intended to help you through this writing process. They may, in fact, help improve my overall project one grade.

3. If I had another week to work on my essay, to be completely honest, I would change my whole subject. I would rewrite a new essay on a topic that is more familiar to me. Project one was sort of difficult because it didn't really give me too many options because of the year restrictions.

4. I'm not necessarily sure I would rewrite the prompt in any manner. The prompt itself is clear upon explanation. However, for the sake of the question, I suppose I would explain certain aspects of the adaption analysis options a little more.

  1. Hi Amiyah
I'm sorry to hear that writing is so painful for you. Also, I hope you get to pick a topic that is more enjoyable to you in this second project. If you ever wish to discuss the difficulties you may find in your projects, please let me know.
