Project one Experience

Alexis Aguila

  1. Project one surely was an experience. I first began my first draft thinking that their is nothing I could possibly do to improve on my writing. However as I kept reading over my work i found that their were many mistakes and i can do so much more to improve. I found that what improved the most was my ability to create a smooth and flowing essay. That is to say my first draft was difficult to understand with a variety of ideas just jumbled up together. What /i did not realize was that what i wrote only I could understand. In my final draft i took more consideration into the readers and their experience reading it.
  2. Possibly the most important thing i learned through this experience was that you can always improve your writing. No matter how good you think the essay is you can always improve uit and make it a million times better.
  3. If  i had another week to work on my essay i would definitely do more peer reviews. I want my essay to be considered good by everyone. By doing this i am able to create an essay that surely is great.
  4. If i could rewrite the prompt i would change it to more of an analysis. That is to say i would want to focus more on a literary analyses. This is because i believe it really makes you think about the book.

  1. Hi Alex
I agree with you that analysis can help you think about the book or movie. It's a great critical thinking exercise. Also, I'm happy that the multiple drafts helped you improve your text.
