Taylor- I think that this is a really cool topic, and I think that the video that she made was very interesting.
Sarah Liem- I think that her text convo was fun, and it was a cool way to get her topic across.
Luke- I love this topic. I liked the survey, and it was very relatable to me because I am an avid makeup wearer.
Katie Herlihy- The Spotify playlist was a nice idea, and I think that your flyers were cute as well.
Logan Green- I like his twitter page, and his memes were really funny.
Emily Melcher- I like her tumblr, because I do not know how to use tumblr and it was a cool topic.
Amaya- I like the graphs in your website, it gave me a good look into the opinions of people on mass shootings.
John Martinez- I like your topic, and your twitter is pretty.
Sean Keenan- This is a topic that I haven’t thought of before, I think that your posters were cool.
Madison Hill-  I like your tumblr, and it looks really professional.

Emily Stock- I like your survey. It is informational.

"Navigating Genres" by Kerry Dirk makes you really think about what a genre is. Whenever I thought about genres, I always thought of it as the type of writing that is being created. All throughout school, we were taught that a genre was used to describe a novel such as nonfiction, fiction, fantasy, science fiction, etc. I never really thought of a piece of writing having a genre but now, after reading Dirk's piece, I now realize that writing does have a genre. Dirk also points out that genres are used to help people accomplish a goal. I never thought a genre could do that. I always thought it was used to just categorize novels or short stories but, now that I have read this piece, I now realize that genres are important because, if you write in the wrong genre, the message that you want to portray can come across completely differently then you had intended. Taylor   I really liked the video that Taylor made because it was a good visual representation for people who don’t like football. Personally, I like football, so I think it is necessary to have more research done for the players wellbeing. Sarah I really liked how Sarah chose such a relevant topic to today’s times. I really liked her journal entries because it showed how much a person is affected by others. No one should be judged based on their gender. Luke B I really like that he used a survey because it gave a semi accurate representation of the people here. I think it’s really funny that he chose the topic of makeup because most of the girls here always are done up. Kathryn The Spotify playlist was a very unique idea.
