Emily Nadel

I specifically like how she structured her second genre. She chose a good option of presenting her information in the style of a pamphlet. This was a good choice because parents are held to a higher standard in regards to retaining information. Although the pamphlet was short, it provided enough information about her topic and genre.

Caroline Bing

The purpose of her poem was a satirical aspect. Her poem was used to criticize the people she surveyed regarding vegetarianism. It really depicted the contradictory ideology that American citizens have.

Analeza Newman

I really liked how she had a whole Instagram set up. She really put thought into her page. The page has a theme and certain aspects she includes. The page includes artists of all genres, not just her biased taste. Particularly, I really liked how she explained each new artist, as well as providing a sample of their music.

Keyana Walker

I specifically liked her subversion to her topic. She used the aspect of a resume to depict the path and skills that these young ladies acquire or go through. It was a very creative and in depth subversion. She made deliberate decisions in her subversion to explain certain things. For example, she named the girl “Hope” to illustrate that hope is what these girls are wishing for.

Josh Liles

The purpose of his presented genre was to create satire towards typical articles in relation to coral reefs. His notion in his mock article was quite funny and received his intended effect with the audience.

Lauren Bodden

I liked her aspect of the memes but I thought they were supposed to be originally created. However, the memes she chose off the internet did help depict the meaning behind her research. It was very relatable to her audience and I feel as though, it served its purpose.

Sydney Sawyer

If it were my project, I would have brought a vegetarian dish for my genre instead of the twitter account because some of the aspects were confusing. For example, she quoted a tweet from PETA regarding the production of cheese.

Garret

Although his topic was very academic and scholarly, he managed to find a way to depict the information to the audience in which the message was still given across. His use of an online survey showed the difference in ideology that our society has regarding tax cuts.

Haley Maksymiak

Her aspect of creating Facebook has the purpose of educating the people who want to consider PA school. This is a very good choice considering her audience. This gives her audience important information regarding the career path they’re choosing to take. She also has a personal connection to the topic which you can

Leah P.

I particularly like how she chose to format her poem based on weight loss trends in connection to this fad diet she’s discussing. In her poem, it explains the process of the fad diets. She was very well spoken in reading her poem aloud and it gave the poem impact.

Alexis Aguila

If it were my project, I wouldn’t have chosen to present the poem. It was quite long for a 5-minute presentation. The poem itself however was very very well written and structured. It explains his research very well in the aspect of how lady liberty deserted him. He should’ve composed his own musical piece to play for the class as a genre, that would’ve been nice considering he has a skill for it.

Gaby R.

I particularly like the xyxy format of her poem. She claims there’s a pattern to PTSD and that’s a good connection to explain and connect to the poem. The content was very well thought out in the relation to the audience.

Hannah

If it were my project, I would just add sound to the cartoon. It was a very well thought out video. The audience seemed to be a little less engaged but the actual video showed a subversion of her topic satirizing ads that sell these types of “products”.

Julie C.

Her topic is very interesting. I wasn’t sure what aspect to focus on, yet, every genre was very detailed. Her memes were very funny and related to the audience. I feel as though her intended effect was achieved.
