Josh Liles: the article is very funny because it was a radical concept while talking about the serious topic of coral reefs dying. The purpose of this article was to bring a fun way into educating about coral reefs.

Lauren: the purpose of the memes in this project was to utilize the growing up with strict parents hashtag by engaging people to relate with each other with humor and pictures about the effects of growing up with strict parents

Sydney Sawyer: The purpose the memes was to subvert the seriousness of being vegetarian by making light of the situation and making fun of people who eat meat

Garret Podolan: the online survey question was to find out if a person was in support of cutting corporate taxes. It showed that the majority of people chose to not cut corporate taxes.

Haley Maksymiak: the purpose of the Facebook page is to help people be educated if they’re looking to get into physicians assistant school

Leah Putnal: I like how this poem because it provides valid information about fad diet while rhyming and being visually pleasing.

Alexis Aguila: I like the deep and metaphorical aspects of this serious poem. Lady liberty representing America, ruining this guy’s life.

Gabby: I like this poem because it explores the aspects of PTSD and then the benefits of having a service dog while still rhyming and being audibly pleasing. I like the aspects of the pattern of the poem because that relates to the patterns of PTSD.

Hannah Lipman: This subversion is funny because it utilizes a salesman to sell physician’s assisted suicide. It is effective because it makes fun of commercial ads that advertise serious topics.
