Presentation Responses Day 2

Taylor - I liked how she included a video. It was a great way to interact with your audience. Sarah Liem - I liked how she did journal entries. It was very different and creative. Luke - I thought the answer to the question “Do you do makeup for fun or because you feel like you have to?” More than half of the answers reported that they used makeup because they feel like they have to. I liked that he included this question because it shows the dynamics of our society. Kathryn – I liked that she created two Spotify playlists to show what kinds of music people like to listen to during studying. Logan – The twitter page he made was very inciteful. I liked how he used it to compare different races of artists. He seemed to have put a lot of time, effort, creativity into it. The poem he created was very relatable. He explained the meaning of music and the effect it could have. Emily Melcher – I liked how she included herself into her Tumblr blog. Since she is a vegetar...

presentations day two

Taylor Wilhelmy Clear presentation, good website layout. The video of the NFL's hardest hits shows very clearly how serious this issue is. However, the question of "does this program really help the players?" stated at the beginning of the presentation was never really answered. Sarah Liem The topic is interesting and definitely worth exploring, but I feel that interviews or surveys of actual men/boys and how toxic masculinity actually effects them would have been more efficient at convincing the audience of the argument. Luke Berard Survey does a good job of conveying information on an interesting topic. I liked the poster and the message of the project. Katie Herlihy Two Spotify playlists were creative as a genre. Flyers and poster both demonstrate how easy it is to get distracted while listening to music and studying. Logan Green  Screenshots of Tweets, etc. shows where public opinion seems to lie. Memes are good and the poem is seemingly very heartfe...

project 3 questions

Emily N. I really like that Emily included a graph in her presentation. I thought I made it easier to visually see the achievement level of other students internationally. Her purpose was to provide evidence that the U.S. is falling behind on the academic trail. Caroline I found it extremely clever that she used a recipe for zuchinni meatballs as a different genre. Her purpose was to give an easy and tasty recipe to encourage vegetarianism. I thought that was such a smart idea and would’ve enver thought of that. Analeza I enjoyed the way that Analeza set up her wix website. It was organized and provided information, along with hashtags. I also like that there were music videos included to represent the change in music over the years. Kiana walker I really enjoyed this presentaition because it taught me a lot. I really liked tat she included statistics and was really passionate about her topic. She included a resume as her subversion, which I think is so smart for a...
