Journal 2
1. Between my first and final drafts I improved on making my paragraphs make more sense. In the first draft I was all over the place, but in the second I was more concise and everything I wrote related to my thesis.
2. The most important thing that I learned during this project was how to peer review another persons’ paper correctly. I usually do not know what advice to give, but this project helped me learn how to do it. The list of things to look at in a paper that the class came up with was really helpful, and I look forward to being able to use it on more papers.
3. I would just work on making everything easy to understand, and I would describe the plots of both stories in more depth. Looking back on it, my paper seems a little rushed in some ways and not rushed in others.
4. I wouldn’t change anything. I really liked this project and it was a lot of fun! I really liked being able to pick my own topic because it made me dread writing this paper way less. It didn’t feel like a chore writing it. It would be cool to be able to write about different adaptations in the same generation, but that is just my opinion.
